David Leggio and Thomas Raffl invited to Winnipeg Jets camp

News has broken out that the Winnipeg Jets will have two invites to their NHL camp this fall.

Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald wrote a piece about David Leggio entering this season without a NHL or AHL contract, but had been signed to a Professional Try Out contract with the Winnipeg Jets for their training camp.

The Kurier also posted an article from the Affiliated Press on Thomas Raffl planning to tryout for the Jets at their training camp as well (article is in German).

MTS IcePlex Expansion Shows Big Investment in Manitoba Moose

The Winnipeg Jets and the Manitoba Moose will be getting a big upgrade to their practice facility for the 2016-17 season, True North Sports announced Monday morning.

Kevin Cheveldayoff announced that they will be making a 21,000-square-foot (19,500-square-metre), two-story addition to the east end of the MTS IcePlex. The project is set to begin next month, and is reported to cost $7.5 million.
