There are several high quality defensemen available in the 2015 draft but there's a range of opinion about the 'best available' at the position. Noah Hanifin remains the likely 'first defenseman off the board' but the Russian Prokorov has a lot of momentum as we head toward spring. The other name you hear about in the range of the top five overall? Zach Werenski.

It was announced Wednesday that the St. John’s IceCaps will be leaving Newfoundland following the 2014-15 season.
The IceCaps franchise will be returning to Winnipeg after a four-year stint on the rock. The IceCaps franchise spent a total of 15 seasons in Manitoba’s capital as the Manitoba Moose in the International Hockey League (five seasons) and the American Hockey League (10 seasons). Before it’s 15 year run in Winnipeg, the Moose/IceCaps franchise played in Minnesota for two seasons.

The Winnipeg Jets were robbed yet again from another comeback.
For the second time in a row, the game started off with a bit of a flukey goal. Michael Hutchinson struggled stopping a weird redirection from Derek McKenzie.
Mark Scheifele tied things up in the second with a deadly wrist shot, only to have the Panthers score on another tip-in. This time the Florida goal came from Brad Boyes. Tyler Myers was injured at one point and tried to return at one point, but the Jets shut him down for the remainder of the game.
Drew Stafford tied things up once again, but it was not meant to be. The young and talented Alexander Barkov regained the lead, and Nick Bjugstad scored the insurance empty-netter.
Let's break it down.
