From a couple of Finns flying under the radar, we go to a pretty well-known WHL kid in our #40 profile: towering Portland Winterhawks winger Paul Bittner. We've covered Bittner at Canucks Army before, and admittedly, it hasn't been an overly glowing evaluation. But that doesn't change the fact that he's a very good prospect with a lot to like his game.
There's a place in the draft where Bittner will likely be the best bet left on the draft board, and we think that place will be somewhere in the early to mid second round.

I don't blame you if you've never heard of Veeti Vainio, as the lanky Finnish defender is currently flying way under the radar. Defensive issues and questions about his overall game have kept him well down many draft lists, but elite level production in Finland's top junior league has vaulted him rather high on ours. Quite simply, he's a point producing monster on the blueline for one of Finland's best U-20 teams.
Join us after the break as we take a look at the 2015 draft's biggest statistical sleeper.

We continue our top-45 prospect countdown today by profiling the guy with undoubtedly the best hair in the draft: lanky Finnish forward Roope Hintz. The industry may be hot-and-cold on Hintz, but after a strong World Junior performance this past January and a very impressive 17-year old season in Finland's top professional league, we have him rated in the first half of the second round.
Join us after the jump to look at one of this draft's potential biggest sleeper picks.

Yakov Trenin was a player I’ve noticed early on this season as he was a big Russian kid playing for my local Gatineau Olympiques. He’s had an excellent season emerging as one of the best players on one of the better possession teams in the league. Despite the love that he has received from his underlying numbers, the scouts don’t quite see the same about him.
Continue past the jump as we move along with our prospect series to see how Yakov Trenin stacks up and what he needs to do in order to make that next jump.
