The Winnipeg Jets announced their roster for their rookie camp, also known as the 2015 Penticton YoungStars tournament.
The camp will be running from September 11-14 in Penticton featuring some of the top prospects for the Winnipeg Jets, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, and Calgary Flames organizations.

The 5'11 winger Nikolaj Ehlers first-round pick of the Winnipeg Jets 2014 NHL Entry Draft hails from Aalborg Denmark, making him the Jets first high profile European pick.
He very well may be the Jets best draft pick thus far.

The 6'1 left-winger Kyle Connor has severe speed, and then some. He's also been one of the most dominant players the USHL has seen.
The Jets future looks very fast on the wings, with Nikolaj Ehlers and Kyle Connor.

Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun recently opined that trading a defenceman makes sense for the Winnipeg Jets, and suggested Dustin Byfuglien be the player if they are to do so. He then says, if they do not, they should move him to forward.
And, to be honest, I do not necessarily disagree.
There are some legitimate reasons to keep Byfuglien --which we have previously discussed. There are also some legitimate reasons to trade the Big Buff as well (age, contract, Trouba).
There is not much of anything to support moving Byfuglien to forward.
Let's take a look point by point and where Wyman went wrong...
