The Jets won another game against a weak Eastern Conference opponent Monday night, and will look to go for two in a row tonight against the Sabres. Despite what could have been a dominating performance, the dump and chase style deployed by Claude Noel limited the Jets opportunities and zone time.

Hey look everyone! I’m back! That’s totally why the Jets won this game. Seriously. It has nothing to do with Evander Kane being back in the lineup. Or, at least that’s how the Jets broadcasters would like to see it. Because why would we want to give the guy any credit at all?

If you got stuck in traffic on the way home from work, then maybe had to play with the cat a little bit because he's been inside alone all day and is a bit ansty, then quickly made yourself a couple pizza pops before turning on the Jets game and only managed to catch the third period, you watched a really exciting game.
If you saw the whole thing, well...at least they won.

I always enjoy taking a sneak peek at the future of the Winnipeg Jets. It brings optimism, hope, and a sense that the franchise is actually going somewhere.
And for the first time in the entire franchise's history - Atlanta and Winnipeg - the team actually knows how to draft quality players who will be in the lineup and not playing in the ECHL (remember Daultan Leveille or Alex Bourret anyone?).
There are four Winnipeg Jets prospects on their respective countries rosters coming up for the World Juniors in Sweden and it is very exciting to see what they offer their country with their skills.
