The Budweiser Red Light

By now most of have heard of this new Budweiser red light thing. For those of you living under a rock (or who PVR every game and zip through commercials), Bud has come up with a replica goal light which you can sync with your favorite team, install in your house, and have it go off every time your club scores. IT'S LIKE ACTUALLY BEING AT THE GAME. Especially if you like to have belligerent drunk friends over to watch the match with (err, drunk ON BUDWEISER of course. Enjoy responsibly and all that).

Jets Nation Casting Call

So NHL hockey is back and every nation site is rocking with tons of daily content, comments, arguments and the odd terrible MS paint picture or photoshop.

Every site, that is, except for the baby in the network: JetsNation.

I convinced Wanye to buy JetsNation.ca and develop the site as soon as they announced a team would be returning to Winnipeg because, hey! Opportunity! I figured it would be easy to track down tons of shiny new excited bloggers and that JetsNation would be bigger than the Beatles in no time.

A Guide To Olli Jokinen For Jets Fans

Apparently Olli Jokinen landed in Winnipeg after his second stint ended in Calgary this off-season. And now he's playing with Evander Kane in the Jets top six and has already collected an impressive 0 points in three games played.

As a native Flames fan I have naturally had many years (on more than one occasion) to observe Olli's foibles as an NHL player and I feel it's my duty to report to his new fans just what kind of player Jokinen is. To start, I can safely say he's a bit like the proverbial Frogurt.
