The NHLN Notebook is a semi-regular feature of interesting hockey content from the past few days that doesn't quite deserve its own article.

Like its parent club in the NHL, the Manitoba Moose have been struggling to win games. Currently the team sits 24th in points percentage. What separates the two teams is why they have been losing.

It was a night of returns at the MTS Centre. Ondrej Pavelec returned between the pipes for the first time this season. Alexander Burmistrov returned to face his former club. The Arizona Coyotes returned to a city they once called home. Most importantly, the Winnipeg Jets returned to winning ways as they doubled the Desert Dogs 6-3 to snap a four-game losing streak.

TSN released their annual Trade Bait List ahead of the March 1st deadline and three Jets players cracked the top 15. To no one’s surprise, pending unrestricted free agent goaltender Ondrej Pavelec comes in at number nine along with pending unrestricted winger Drew Stafford showing up at 15. Not only are those two likely candidates to be moved, some will argue they both should be moved, if there are any takers. A somewhat surprising inclusion on the list and extra surprising in his placement is Mathieu Perreault, who shows up at number four.
But should it be surprising?

So, has anyone heard any news around the Jets camp lately? It's been pretty quiet hasn't it. Not much is happening. Oh wait. There was a small order of business. Nothing major. Ondrej Pavelec was called up from the Manitoba Moose. Remember him? Yeah that didn't generate much talk. Unless you count Twitter nearly exploding.
