What a difference a couple of months can make.

Back in December, the Vancouver Canucks still looked like one of the NHL's elite teams. The Sedins were clicking, a playoff berth seemed like a given, and John Tortorella was lavished with praise for supposedly turning a team with a soft reputation into a team made from sandpaper.

Following a rather rough second period, the Jets showed once again that they are now capable of turning it on in the third to make any game interesting. Unfortunately, on Tuesday night it simply wasn’t enough to overcome some questionable goaltending throughout the night.

                                 Umm….yuck.

Jets fans at the MTS Centre were treated to three games in one last night against the Predators. First, we had a defensive dual. Next, there was a scrambled effort as the Jets were caught chasing in their own end for far too long. Finally, they really turned it on and showed everyone how dangerous they really can be. In the end, a couple weird bounces kept the Jets in this game, while some inferior goaltending pulled them right back out of it.

This game had everything.

Big hits, continous play, excellent passing, tough board battles, impressive individual efforts, and goals aplenty.

If only the Jets came out of this one with two points.
