Yet again another game where the Jets outshoot their opponent, out chance their opponent and generally carry play for a good majority of the game... All for naught by stupid retaliatory penalties and poor special teams play.
This is how 2015 ends for the Winnipeg Jets, with a 4-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes that not even the most optimistic of fans can call a "moral victory."

2015 was a wild ride for the Winnipeg Jets and their fans. A short but memorable trip to the playoffs was the highlight of the year while the Evander Kane trade to Buffalo was the biggest news story of 2015. But what will 2016 bring? That, we're not sure yet. However, with each year end, most people make resolutions for the upcoming year in order to improve themselves. The Jets are no different.

The Winnipeg Jets travel to Arizona tonight to take on the Coyotes in the 2015 finale.
The Jets are looking for their first three-game winning streak of the season. The Jets blanked the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 on Sunday, then followed that up with a 4-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings two nights later.
The Jets are also looking to end a streak. They've lost five straight games on the road, their last win being on Nov. 27 in Minnesota. They've lost 11 of their last 12 road games and are 6-12-1 overall on the road this season.

With the injury of Mark Scheifele, the forward depth of the Jets is being tested. With Jets managment opting to go for a youth movement, certain offensively minded players were not resigned in the 2015 off-season.
To fill the hole of losing Scheifele, players are being forced to play in roles they are not used to or do not have the proper skill set to fill the hole.
This begs the question, do the Jets need to make a trade to properly fill the 2nd line centre spot if Scheifele is out long term?
