While it has been a whirlwind of a season for the Winnipeg Jets, no one has experienced more ups and downs than Mathieu Perreault.
The 29-year-old centre, who has been playing on the second-line LW of late, is not experiencing the consistency he has over the years. In his last three season, he's scored at least 40 points, serving as an important asset and core member of the Jets' scoring lines.
However, he has struggled greatly this season and has just four goals and 13 points through 33 games. Not only that, he is a minus-14 and is not playing the quality of hockey he usually boasts. He did have an undisclosed injury that held him out of the lineup for some time, and it's clear that he is still shaking off some rust.
But then again, he has appeared to pick things up of late. He recorded two power-play helpers in Saturday's loss to the Los Angeles Kings, marking his first multi-point game of the 2016-17 season. He has three goals and 10 points in his last 16 games and may be on the verge to finding his scoring touch again.

Winnipeg Jets centre Mark Scheifele is not only in a three-way tie for the Jets' lead in scoring but is also becoming one of the core members of the team. Still, there is plenty to be known about the 23-year-old, who has gone a long way since being drafted seventh overall in 2011.

The Jacob Trouba-Winnipeg Jets saga could very well be novelized. But considering his past, present and future situation with the team, there are still a lot of pages left unturned.

In 35 games this season, the 32-year-old blueliner has scored just one goal and nine points. He is a plus-2 and has 26 PIM so far this season, but one problem surrounds around his numerous giveaways and lack of physicality on the blueline.
Despite an overall drop in his offensive and defensive game, Enstrom still factors into the top four. However, there are many options when it comes to trading away Enstrom, and likely many teams who would pay for a top-four blueliner of his calibre.

After an impressive win Tuesday against Chicago, the Winnipeg Jets are looking for their third straight win. Unfortunately, to keep their streak going, they'll have to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets, who are going for their 14th straight win.
Of course, just when things are looking up... they have one of their toughest matchups to date... Anyway, let's stop thinking about that and get into projected lineups, eh?
